Unicorn Factory Lisboa has announced the finalists for the Entrepreneurship Awards 2025, an annual initiative that celebrates the achievements of Portugal’s most promising startups and entrepreneurs.

The event will take place on October 23 at the Técnico Innovation Center, bringing together founders, investors, corporates, and ecosystem leaders for a day of keynotes, startup pitches, networking, and exchanges on entrepreneurship and innovation.

Organized by Unicorn Factory Lisboa – a Lisbon City Hall flagship initiative – the awards aim to recognize and connect the ecosystem while reinforcing Lisbon’s position as a leading European innovation hub. The program highlights talent across different sectors, from health tech to sustainability, education, and AI.

Registration for the ceremony is open, and below are the finalists across the four main categories:

João Vasconcelos Award – Entrepreneur of the Year

Xavier Jameson 

Xavier Jameson is the co-founder and chief growth officer of Musiversal, a platform that makes access to professional musicians easier and more affordable for creators. Through a single subscription, users can book and collaborate with session musicians in real time, join live recording sessions, and retain full rights to their music.

Cody Candee

Cody Candee is the founder and CEO of Bounce, a company transforming the way people travel by building what it calls the world’s “largest global luggage storage network.”

Felipe Ávila da Costa

Felipe Ávila da Costa is the co-founder and CEO of Infraspeak, a facilities management software platform that connects entire operations, enabling end-to-end collaboration, full visibility, and intelligent automation.

Filipe Nery

Filipe Nery is the co-founder and chief growth officer of Lyzer, a platform that optimizes supply chains from order to delivery. Its all-in-one solution enhances operational efficiency by simplifying every stage of order management, picking, and logistics.

Pedro Henriques

Pedro Henriques is the founder and CEO of BRIDGE IN, a company that provides Employer of Record, payroll processing, and subsidiary incorporation services for startups, scale-ups, and publicly listed companies looking to launch operations in Portugal and Europe efficiently and with minimal risk.

Youth Startup Award

GreenDash

GreenDash helps companies simplify and streamline their sustainability reporting. The AI-driven platform combines human expertise and automation to create compliant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reports under the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) – all in one place.

ROOTKey

ROOTKey is transforming the landscape of cybersecurity by introducing a new approach to digital protection. Instead of relying on traditional methods, the company uses blockchain technology to decentralize and safeguard digital assets – ensuring the integrity, ownership, and validity of information even in the face of cyberattacks.

BloodFlow

BloodFlow provides AI-powered blood test interpretation seamlessly integrated with electronic health records (EHR). The platform helps hospitals and clinics improve diagnostic accuracy, automate routine workloads, and increase revenue efficiency.

Most Impactful Startup Award

knok

knok offers an all-in-one digital health platform that integrates telemedicine, advanced health solutions, and a patient journey engine. It enables a continuous and personalized healthcare experience across all stages of life and conditions while empowering patients to take an active role in their care.

LoopOS

LoopOS is an all-in-one platform that helps companies design and implement tailored circular business models. It turns sustainability into a practical and profitable advantage for organizations of all sizes.

ubbu

ubbu combines coding and play to teach children aged 6 to 12 problem-solving and mindful citizenship skills. Through interactive games and lessons, it helps families and schools introduce coding in a fun and educational way. 

Most Promising Startup Award

Granter

Granter is an AI grant consultant designed to make public funding faster and more accessible for businesses. The platform’s AI agent identifies suitable grants, prepares competitive applications, and handles submissions automatically – helping companies save “up to 90%” of their time while receiving full support from discovery to post-approval management.

Lampsy Health

Lampsy Health supports families affected by epilepsy through smart monitoring technology. Its solution detects abnormal movements with “over 99% accuracy” and enables users to share video recordings, helping families and caregivers gain peace of mind and improve care.

Manie

Manie simplifies how people understand and manage their energy consumption. It helps them avoid overpaying for energy while becoming more energy literate, offering tools to monitor usage, reduce costs, and promote more sustainable habits.

Two new distinctions have also been introduced this year – the Rising Female Award and the International Personality Award – expanding the initiative’s recognition of excellence and diversity in entrepreneurship.
