Portuguese company Inov4Sports has been selected by FIFA to supply the official flooring for the first-ever Women’s Futsal World Cup, which will take place from November 21 to December 7, 2025, in Pasig, the Philippines.
According to the Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency (AICEP), the company will deliver four sports floors – three for training venues and one for the main competition arena – integrating 100% Portuguese technology.
Founder and CEO Nuno Vicente says the selection is an honour for the company, reflecting FIFA’s confidence in Portuguese-made technology and Inov4Sports’ commitment to advancing innovation in sport.
“It is a privilege for Inov4Sports to represent Portugal once again at a historic milestone for women’s futsal. This invitation from FIFA reflects the trust placed in the quality of our technology and in the work we carry out to advance sport worldwide,” Vicente – who previously served as a futsal flooring specialist for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 in Uzbekistan – was quoted as saying by AICEP.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Almada, Inov4Sports develops and produces sports infrastructure solutions entirely in Portugal. The company combines the expertise of engineers, architects, designers, and former athletes to create advanced systems that improve safety, performance, and durability in sports venues.
Inov4Sports’ portfolio includes modular and in-situ sports flooring for high-performance indoor and outdoor use, compact urban multisport arenas that support dozens of disciplines in one space, covered structures for year-round play with turnkey delivery, and electronic scoring systems with interactive, high-precision LED displays. Each solution is designed for both professional venues and community facilities.
AICEP described the selection as “a moment of pride for Portugal,” noting that the country will be represented not only by its national team but also by “its industrial and technological leadership on the world stage.”
Over the past decade, the company has supplied flooring to some of the most prestigious futsal competitions and organizations, including Spain’s National Futsal League (LNFS), the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), the UEFA Futsal Champions League, the French Football Federation (FFF), and the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB).
